The End of "Lost" is Found (and Near)

"Lost" to say buh-bye to Hawaii (and the world) in 2009-10 season

You can put all those rumors about "Lost"'s demise to rest now: ABC officially announced yesterday that the made-in-Hawaii sci-fi drama will indeed expire in the 2009-10 TV season.

The network's decision had nothing to do with the hit show's softening ratings, but rather, with the desire to allow current exec producers Damon Lindelof and Carlton Cuse to end the show with dignity (i.e., with a natural story arc that would remain tight and riveting throughout the rest of the show's lifespan).

After this season, "Lost" (still a hit show, by the way) will run for 3 more uninterrupted seasons, so enjoy it while you can!
