Wai'anae High's Searider Producions Wins Student Emmy

Congrats to Wai'anae High School's Searider Productions for nabbing the Student Emmy Award in the sports category late last month. Their winning production, “A Paddle Through Time,” looks at paddling not only as a high school sport, but as part of a cultural identity and tradition past down through generations. The documentary was one of only seven student productions that were given a National Student Award for Excellence (commonly known as a "Student Emmy") by The Foundation of the National Academy of Television Arts & Sciences.
