Chris Lee Chooses "Superman" Over Legendary

According to Variety yesterday, Jon Jashni of Hyde Park Entertainment will take the top creative post at Legendary Pictures, a position that was previously going to be occupied by local boy and Academy for Creative Media founder Chris Lee. Says Variety, "Hire answers the question of who will run development for Legendary, which originally tapped former TriStar production head Chris Lee for the job when it announced its launch this summer. But Lee, already a producer on 'Superman Returns,' decided to stay with the summer 2006 tentpole on a day-to-day capacity."
