Be the Newest "Lost" Director, Writer, or Suit!

Minority and women candidates are encouraged to apply to the following full-time paid programs offered by ABC/Disney/Touchstone (the company that brings us "Lost"):

  • ABC/DGA Television Directing Fellowship Program:
    ABC and the Directors Guild of America are launching the 6th rotation of their TV directing fellowship program. They are encouraging minority and women directors to apply for one of 3 paid fellowships ($15.50/hr) that will last on and off for about 36 weeks starting in January 2007. There are no specific directing assignments provided, but fellows will get a DGA director as a mentor, plus exposure to various TV execs. Applications will be accepted from February 27 to March 31, 2006.

  • Walt Disney Studios & ABC Entertainment Writing Fellowship Program: Disney and ABC are encouraging minority and women writers to apply for one of 15 full-time, one-year writing fellowships slated to begin in February 2007. Applications will be accepted between May 1 and June 23, 2006.

  • ABC/Touchstone Television Production Associates Program:
    Minority and women applicants are encouraged to apply for entry-level, full-time, one-year Production Associate positions at Touchstone Television in Burbank, CA starting in July 2006. Associates will learn Primetime Network television production in the areas of Production Management, Production Finance, Post-Production Management, or Studio Crafts Management. Applications will be accepted between March 1 and April 14, 2006.
