Desperately Seeking Kaiulani



Are you a skinny young Hapa Hawaiian woman? Then audition for the role of Princess Kaiulani in a low-budget indie feature slated to be shot on Oahu next year.

Audition Details:
When: 9 a.m. Tuesday, 10/18
Where: Robert Louis Stevenson Room,
Sheraton Princess Kaiulani Hotel
Who: Applicants should be about 5-foot-7, 120 pounds, of Hawaiian and Caucasian descent, able to act, speak with a British accent. Bring a photograph.

The film will be a biopic of the princess, the last heir to the Hawaiian throne who died (rather symbolically) at the tender age of 23. The film is budgeted at $7 million, and will be jointly produced by Trailblazer Films and Matador Pictures, and directed by Marc Forby.
