• Learn how local director Leah Kihara made her short film, "I Scream, Floats and Sundays" at this month's ArtLunch Lecture on Tuesday, July 26, noon at the Hawaii State Art Museum.
• Watch locally made or made-by-locals indie shorts "I Scream, Floats and Sundays," "Kamea," and "Summer of the Serpent" at the Hawaii State Art Museum (playing continuously from 10 a.m.-4 p.m. Tues-Sat through Sept 3).
• Watch "Kamea" at the North Shore's Sunset on the Beach, Sunday, July 24.
• Take a film/video class at UH's Pacific New Media.
